Exterior Detailing
Newport, PA & Surrounding Areas
Your car's paint is constantly under attack — road film, bird droppings, iron fallout, and UV exposure. Our exterior detail removes it all and seals the surface for lasting protection.
Paint is under constant attack the moment a vehicle leaves the factory. Road salt and iron fallout from brake dust embed themselves microscopically into clear coat — contamination that a standard car wash removes on the surface but leaves behind in the paint. UV exposure fades trim and oxidizes clear coat over time. Bird droppings and tree sap etch paint within hours if left untreated, and Pennsylvania winters accelerate all of it.
A proper exterior detail addresses the full picture: a thorough multi-stage hand wash using a safe two-bucket wash method, chemical paint decontamination to dissolve iron particles the eye cannot see, clay bar treatment to remove bonded surface contamination, restoration of faded plastic trim, and a high-quality paint sealant or carnauba spray wax to lock in the gloss and protect against the next round of exposure.
Wheels and wheel wells receive individual treatment — brake dust and road tar buildup destroys the look of even a freshly washed car. Exterior glass is cleaned spot-free, door jambs and shuts are detailed inside and out, and tire dressing is applied to protect rubber from UV cracking.
The difference between exterior detailing and a car wash is not incremental. It is categorical.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Do you need access to water for exterior detailing?
- We carry water for most jobs. For larger vehicles or heavily soiled exteriors that require more rinsing, access to an outdoor spigot is helpful but not always necessary. We will let you know when you book.
- What is the difference between a car wash and exterior detailing?
- A car wash removes loose surface dirt. An exterior detail goes several layers deeper — chemical decontamination of the paint, clay bar treatment, iron removal, wheel and brake dust treatment, trim restoration, and a protective paint sealant. The results are in a completely different category.
- Will detailing scratch my paint?
- No. We use proper two-bucket wash methods, pH-neutral products, and microfiber tools throughout. Every step is designed to protect your paint rather than abrade it. We do not use automatic brush equipment of any kind.
- Can I combine exterior detailing with an interior service?
- Absolutely — that is our Full Detail. Booking both together is the most thorough option and the most popular choice for annual maintenance or pre-sale preparation.
- How long does exterior detailing take?
- Typically 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on vehicle size and how contaminated the paint is. Trucks, SUVs, and vehicles with heavy road film or brake dust buildup take longer than clean sedans.
